Where do we go when we sleep at night
Behind the curtains of our eyes
To places where we do not weep
To hills and mountains made of sleep
As slumbering thoughts, tailered by hope and fear
Our dreams show what we resist to hear
Yet from ourselves we cannot run
For pride and shame at night are gone
So, smile as you receive a star-born gift
And find peace of mind during moon's darkened shift
Only the liars and traitors are the ones that cry
Because our dreams will never lie...
